FERNDALE, Mich. – Yes, the official beginning of fall comes this weekend, but before we let the sun fully set on our summer of fun, we thought you’d enjoy one last look at the some of the coolest – or should we say hottest? – Mustangs that we spotted during our day touring Ford’s Mustang Alley at the 2023 Woodward Dream Cruise. This year as always, thousands of Ford fans joined in this rolling celebration of the car as more than 1 million enthusiasts from all over the world came to suburban Detroit on the third weekend of August to see and hear some 40,000 classic and collectible cars cruise along one of America’s most iconic roads and experience car culture in The Motor City – the very place where the American auto industry was born. While the Ford faithful were stationed at several spots along the cruise route, the biggest and most impressive Ford footprint is Ford’s famed “Mustang Alley” where corporate displays and hundreds of owner-loved Mustangs from every vintage are on display.
We sent out our top, young Ford Performance photographer, Joe Deladvitch, to capture some of his favorite rides along Mustang Alley where it meets up with Woodward Avenue for the Woodward Dream Cruise. So, before you start thinking of pumpkin spice, get a last taste of the Mustang-flavored passion that we witnessed on that spectacular day of Ford fandom in the Motor City, and take a long look at some of Joe’s top shots below from the hundreds he took during this bucket-list automotive spectacle. It’s sure to warm your heart!
