FERNDALE, Mich. – Yet another annual Woodward Dream Cruise has become the highlight of the summer for more than a million car-lovers from all over the world. Enthusiasts from near and far come to Detroit on the third weekend of August each year to see and hear some 40,000 classic and collectible cars cruise along one of America’s most iconic roads and experience car culture in The Motor City – the very place where the American auto industry was born. With the 2023 Woodward Dream Cruise being sponsored by Ford for the sixth straight year, plenty of FoMoCo vehicles, including Mustang and Bronco – again took center stage here.
While the Ford faithful were stationed at several spots along the cruise route, the biggest and most impressive Ford footprint is always Ford’s famed “Mustang Alley,” where corporate displays and hundreds of owner-loved Mustangs from every vintage are on display – from classic stock to modded show-stoppers. It’s easily the epicenter of Ford fandom at the Woodward Dream Cruise. We’re going to offer an insider’s look (complete with beauty shots) of some of the great Fords we saw on cruise day this year – both in Mustang Alley and on Woodward Avenue -- so stay tuned to FordPerformance.com in the coming weeks. But for now, check out this photo gallery below from Ford superfan photojournalist Bill Cook, who sent us some of his favorite photos from Mustang Alley 2023 below. Then check back with us soon for more of what makes the Woodward Dream Cruise a bucket-list automotive spectacle.
