FERNDALE, Mich. – Yes, the kids are now back in school and Fall is here, but before we let the sun fully set on our summer of fun, we thought you’d enjoy one last look at the Ford magic that we saw during the 2022 edition of the world’s largest one-day automotive event known as the Woodward Dream Cruise. This year as always, thousands of Ford fans joined in this rolling celebration of the car as more than 1 million enthusiasts from all over the world came to suburban Detroit on the third weekend of August to see and hear some 40,000 classic and collectible cars cruise along one of America’s most iconic roads and experience car culture in The Motor City – the very place where the American auto industry was born. While the Ford faithful were stationed at several spots along the cruise route, the biggest and most impressive Ford footprint was Ford’s famed “Mustang Alley” where corporate displays and hundreds of owner-loved Mustangs from every vintage were on display.
We sent out our top, young Ford Performance photographers, Joe Deladvitch and Sean Devine, to capture the Ford action both on Woodward Avenue and in Mustang Alley so that you can at least visually re-live what they saw that spectacular day of Ford fandom at the 2022 Woodward Dream Cruise. Check out some of their favorite photos from the hundreds they took during this bucket-list automotive spectacle, and bookmark this page in case a long, snowy winter finds you longing to see cool Mustangs and hot Fords out cruising in the summer sun.
