ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – When automotive event cancellations due to the COVID pandemic make car shows too few and far between, enthusiasts often turn to consignment showrooms and museums to get their regular dose of the classic car culture. That’s exactly what happened when our own roving photographer, Jeff Burgy, visited the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine, Florida, recently. The museum proclaims it was created “to help bring memories back to life as only classic cars can do,” and is “founded on the principles of sharing, charitable giving, community involvement, education, and a whole lot of fun.”Green patina Ford Pickup

The Classic Car Museum of St Augustine features cars ranging from the early 1900’s to present-day in its 30,000-square-foot building, which also serves the “Nation’s Oldest City” as a collector car storage facility and special events space. Community contributions include hosting various charity events, school and educational outings, club meetings and business conferences. The venue provides event versatility, from a classic car backdrop indoors to an outdoor manicured lawn and pond, to an upscale banquet room – and often hosts cruise-in’s and Cars & Coffee gatherings.1960s ford econoline pickup

Burgy, a longtime Shelby enthusiast and SAAC-MCR (Motor City Region) club founder, went to the museum knowing they change up their inventory all the time, so he was looking to find out what’s new. Of course we asked that he bring his camera to find some of the classic Fords for us, so that we could share some of his photos with you. We hope you enjoy his pics in the gallery below:Pink ford thunderbirdOrange first gen mustang convertible1940s Ford White Ford in museumBlack boss 302 mustang S197 with hood open1920s FordRed 1950s ford pickupFord retractable with top midway openBlack Shelby Cobra
