CLAWSON, Mich. – Just north of the city that hosts one of the world’s largest automotive events in the world, the Woodward Dream Cruise, is the 2.2-square-mile town of Clawson, Michigan. It’s here that the United Street Machine Association, or USMA for short, hosts its annual charity show at the Knights of Columbus’ Clawson headquarters. With 2019 marking the 41st year that the club had hosted enthusiast-related events, you can expect this show would draw some of the highest quality cars in town – and it did. What’s more, the USMA has taken great pride in how their volunteers treat showgoers, because they are the key to a great event.
If you’ve ever been to a Knights of Columbus hall anywhere across the country, you may know most of them don’t have huge parking lots. With the Clawson K of C having only around 80 parking spaces, this show quickly spills over to the grassy areas surrounding the building.
