TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Tallahassee Automobile Museum located off I-10 just northeast of Florida’s state capital and features some of rarest American automobiles in the world. The 100,000-square-foot car museum opened to the public back in May of 1996 and features two stories of collectibles with more than 150 vehicles on display. The collection highlights rare and unique American vehicles that are considered pioneers in the industry based on engineering achievements, as well as vehicles that have played important roles throughout auto history.

Although the Tallahassee Automobile Museum has everything from Abraham Lincoln’s horse-drawn hearse to some of Batman’s movie cars, we were most interested to see what kind of cool Fords they had there on display. What’s more, visitors can also check out a wide variety of unique Americana collectables, including Native American artifacts, Steinway pianos, pocket watches, knives, baseball cards, telephones, pedal cars -- even spark plugs, just to name a few.

Longtime Shelby enthusiast and SAAC-MCR club founder Jeff Burgy took some time to stop in for a visit at the museum and snapped photos of some of the more notable Fords he found on display there. He agreed to share his photos with us, so check out some of the Blue Oval beauties in his gallery below:
