We met Mike Cole during this past summer’s Cobra Jet 50th Anniversary Reunion event at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. While we were first blown away by his 1968½ Mustang GT 428 Cobra Jet, we were even more blown away by his “Tragedy to Treasure” story about the car that dates back 50 years to this coming New Year’s Eve. But when Tim told us the car was the daily driver of Adele Acrey who has been in love with this pretty pony ever since she bought it new, we had to hear more. Wayne Fabish’s ’67 Coyote Coupe Build was 3 ½ -Year Labor of Love

For road-racer Wayne Fabish, there was only one way to power his 3-1/2 year restomod of a 1967 Mustang Coupe – and that was with a Ford Performance 5.0 Liter Coyote Crate Engine.
