Ford has been a key player in drag racing, competing in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), the leading drag racing series in the United States. Ford supports competitors in Nitro Funny Car and Factory X, as well as pushing boundaries with electric demonstrator vehicles like the Ford Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800. Bob Tasca III, Ford Performance Nitro Funny Car driver, was the first to reach 341.68 mph in 2024.
