Widely considered one of the best road racers in the world, Joey Hand returned for his fourth full-time season with Ford Chip Ganassi Racing in 2018 after competing in the team’s Ford EcoBoost prototype in 2015 and Ford GT in 2016-7. Hand, with co-drivers Dirk Müller and Sébastien Bourdais, won both the GTE Pro category at the Le Mans 24 Hours (June 2016) and GTLM title at the Rolex 24 At Daytona (January 2017) in nine months. Hand credits his father Les for teaching him at an early age the discipline he needed to succeed in racing.

2013

  •  DTM BMW Team RBM - Five top-10 finishes, including: 8th place at Norisring; 7th place,  Hockenheim, Moscow, and Zandvoort; and 5th place, Brands Hatch. Finished 12th in points.

2012

  • DTM BMW Team RBM - First full-time American driver. 20th place DTM (BMW)
  •  American Le Mans Series (ALMS) - Winner, Sebring 12 Hour (GT class); 2nd place, Long Beach (GT class); 7th place in points (GT class)

2011

  • ALMS (GT), Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan Racing – Winner: Sebring 12 Hours, Long Beach and Lime Rock; 2nd place, Baltimore, Laguna Seca; 3rd place, Le Mans 24 and Road America.
