DEARBORN - Chase Briscoe’s win at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval is the 250th NASCAR XFINITY Series win for Ford. Here is a look back at some key victories through the years.
Mark Martin won Ford’s first NASCAR XFINITY Series race driving for car owner Bruce Lawmaster at Dover on May 30, 1987.
Jeff Gordon won the first race of his NASCAR career with Ford and Bill Davis Racing on Mar. 14, 1992 when he won the Atlanta 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Greg Biffle’s win at Indianapolis Raceway Park on Aug. 3, 2002 was the last of his four wins that season and solidified his points lead en route to winning Ford’s first series championship.
Carl Edwards did his patented backflip after securing the first series win for Mustang on Apr. 8, 2011 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the first race of his series career at Iowa Speedway on May 22, 2011 and went on to claim the championship later that season.
