Vaughn Gittin Jr. Sweeps The Weekend

SEATTLE, Wash. – Team RTR found the top step of the podium for the third Formula Drift round in a row. After Chelsea DeNofa captured the Round 2 win in St. Louis, Vaughn Gittin Jr. added a proverbial broom to his Mustang for Seattle and made a clean sweep of the weekend, winning Rounds 3 and 4, having a close battle with Justin Pawlak's Roush Performance Mustang for the latter.

“We battled hard for these ones," said Gittin Jr. "The track and weather have been inconsistent and kept us on our toes since we arrived here in Seattle on Wednesday. This pressure brought the best out of me and my incredible team. We had our Ford Mustang RTR dialed and focused on one run at a time all the way through the finals! Winning is always great, but this one is very special to me as I learned a lot about myself and have a revised approach to this crazy sport of drifting.”

Vaughn now sits 2nd in the overall championship standings at the season’s halfway point and just eight points out of first.

Team RTR will hold onto their wins until Formula Drift returns for Rounds 5 and 6 starting October 30th in Dallas Texas.
