From April’s ‘Super Celebration East’ In TN To ‘May-It-Forward’ In MA, It’s Bronco Time!

Broncos in parking lot for show

Spring is finally here – but if you’re still waiting for things to heat up a bit before you take your Mustang out to play, consider choosing another iconic Ford to ramp-up your outdoor automotive activity – the Bronco! Shortly after the world celebrates Global Mustang Day on April 17th, Bronco fans will be gearing up for the “Bronco Super Celebration” April 19-22 at the Townsend Visitor Center in Townsend, Tennessee, just outside of Pigeon Forge. Hosted annually since 2006 in the Smoky Mountains town of Townsend, this four-day event hosted by Bronco Driver Magazine is billed as the world’s largest Bronco enthusiast gathering. On-site activities include daily drives, Show-n-Shine awards, product giveaways, vendors, food trucks and much more. For full Bronco Super Celebration East event and registration information, visit www.broncodriver.com.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, one of the hottest Ford products out there these days is indeed the Bronco. And one of our favorite Bronco events is the annual “May It Forward” Bronco extravaganza, presented by BONES (Bronco Owners North East States). This year’s event, held May 12th and 13th in Gardner, Massachusetts, is the group’s  9th annual gathering and it keeps growing by leaps and bounds each year. May It Forward is now a two-day event with a Friday night scenic cruise on May 12th with the main drive event being on Saturday, May 13th. We’ve covered Randy “Tasker” Wickman’s Bronco gathering before on FordPerformance.com, and can vouch that it’s the perfect way to get started in the off-road hobby in your new (or not so new) Ford Bronco. You can expect over 100 Broncos to participate with more than 300 attendees from more than a dozen states. Better still, it’s an all-donation event to benefit the Travis Mills Foundation (travismills.org) for Afghanistan war veterans – all while you enjoy a day full of fun, food, Fords and friends. You can get more info on https://thebronconation.com.

What’s that, you say? You don’t yet own a Bronco and a big, all-Ford, Shelby and Mustang show in the Springtime is more your speed? Then it’s time for you to attend the Ford Enthusiast Nationals and ShelbyFest 2023, May 3rd through the 6th in Jefferson City, Missouri. Formerly known as just ShelbyFest, this show has been expanded to include all Ford-powered products and has even added a track event at Ozarks International Raceway. Oh sure, there’s still the big Friday night welcome party with live music, as well as scenic cruises and an autocross, plus the massive Saturday Show & Shine in downtown Jefferson City. We expect an even bigger, better show this year, so don’t miss out -- get all the details at https://shelbyfest.net.
