We’re often asked how we find so many great stories about Ford owners to feature in our Ford Fan Spotlight. Yes, some of you do send info and photos on your favorite Ford people to us at ClubHub@Ford.com – especially if they’re about YOU. But we come across so many more when Ford Performance Club Connect sets up our Meet & Greet tent at your club event or car show and gets the chance to talk to you face-to-face. That’s exactly how we’re able to share this amazing story about 100-year-old Carsten Gosen, who recently celebrated his triple-digit birthday by gathering his Ford-loving family on his farm for a centennial get-together and an amazing Ford family photo-op. We would have never known about him had we not met one of Carsten’s granddaughters, Kim Leach of Frankenmuth, at the Mustang Club of Mid-Michigan’s annual Stampede car show in Birch Run, Michigan, earlier this year. Talk about a true-blue Ford guy who has raised a Ford family! Check out the recap and pics she had sent to us below – and help us say, “Happy 100th Birthday!” to Cart Gosen!Carten and his family

"Lifelong Ford enthusiast, Carsten Gosen celebrated his 100th birthday with his family on May 28, 2023. Cart is a World War II vet and farms 1,500 acres with his sons in Saginaw, Michigan. He and his wife, Ruth, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 93, have 6 children, 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.Cartens Ford thunderbird

“The whole family are Ford enthusiasts, and they gathered most of their Ford vehicles for photos as they celebrated Cart's 100th birthday on the family farm. They gathered 9 Mustangs, 2 Thunderbirds, a 1963 Ford Tractor, a 1947 Ford pickup, 2 Broncos, 4 F-150 & F-250 pickups, and a Lincoln. Missing from the photo are a 1965 427 Galaxie 500, A 1970 429 Super Cobra Jet Torino, a 1971 Mustang Mach 1, a 1949 Ford Farm Truck, and a 2007 Mustang that are also in the family.Full line up of fords

“The Gosen family, while having a soft spot for Ford's powerful muscle cars, holds a high regard for the durability and aesthetic appeal of their entire Ford collection, a testament to their years of unbroken loyalty to the brand. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to share our family's story with Ford Motor Company.”Mustangs only from family
