CARLISLE, Pa. – Another Carlisle Ford Nationals show is in the books and the 2023 edition was oh-so-close to setting yet more records for not only show-field registrations but also overall attendance. Sunny, summer-like weather greeted thousands of fans for a spectacular Blue Oval weekend on June 1-4 , filling the Carlisle Fairgrounds in central Pennsylvania with Fords from “early bird day” on Thursday right on through Sunday afternoon, when the final awards were issued. We’ll have a full report on Carlisle 2023 to try and explain why this annual show is on every Ford fan’s bucket list, so look for that coming up soon in the Enthusiasts Section of FordPerformance.com. In the meantime, we’ll offer you a look at some of the Fords we spotted at the show this year -- not including the Mustangs or Broncos.

Yes, there are more and more Mustangs on the show field during the Carlisle Ford Nationals each and every year because of the pony car’s ongoing popularity in the hobby, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see all the other vehicles that have made Ford the world’s most iconic auto brand. Everything from the Pinto to the Ford GT supercar can be seen at the Carlisle Ford Nationals, and nameplates including Thunderbirds, Galaxies, Fairlanes, Torinos and Mavericks (cars AND pickups), plus the Focus and Fiesta. There’s also Model T’s and Model A’s and Ford trucks and SUV’s of all sorts as well. In fact, you can find just about every kind of Ford vehicle produced by the Blue Oval in the last 120 years at Carlisle – including a wide range of models from Lincoln, Mercury and even Edsel.
