DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Whenever classic or collectible Fords gather in Florida, you can be sure that our own super-enthusiast and roving photographer, Jeff Burgy, will be there. So when the Museum of Arts & Science (MOAS) in Daytona Beach hosted a Muscle Car show that was free to the public last fall, Burgy grabbed his camera and headed to the museum grounds to search out what Blue Oval rides might be on display.
As the MOAS had promoted it, “The muscle car is one of the most significant innovations ever created by American vehicle manufacturers. Throughout their over 70-year history, starting in the late 1940’s and continuing into today, muscle cars have cemented their place as a central piece of American culture. So join us at the Museum of Arts & Sciences for an amazing display of American Muscle in the form of vintage cars and trucks. DJ Frank Roberts will be spinning music from the 50’s and 60’s while you hob-knob among some of America’s greatest road machines.”
Burgy did just that, and with plenty of Ford owners as well as members of the Daytona Mustang Club in attendance, he found many fine examples to photograph. We chose some of our favorites from the show to share with you in Jeff’s photo galley below – enjoy!
