FORD PRIDE IN HIGH GEAR AT CAPITAL AREA MUSTANGS’ BLUE OVAL BLAST

GRAND LEDGE, Mich. – Attend the typical “Mustang and Ford” car show hosted by any of the hundreds of Mustang clubs across the country each year and you’ll likely find that Mustangs will outnumber the Fords at a 5-1 clip, or better. With the Mustang clubs doing the hosting, that kind of mix could easily be expected – but there’s no denying that the attending Fords make for a more interesting day.

That’s precisely why the show in which we participated on Sunday, August 26, 2018, near Michigan’s state capital of Lansing was so noteworthy. Nearly every kind of Ford Motor Company produced vehicle was in attendance along with a fine selection of Mustangs at the “Blue Oval Blast” show, held at picturesque Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan. It was the 21st annual Mustang and Ford show put on by our friends in the Capital Area Mustangs. club. We supplied a Ford Performance Meet & Greet display tent where we gave away Mustang posters all day and talked cars, and the club provided a DJ rockin’ out classic tunes, plus door prizes, a 50-50 raffle, a model car contest, a trivia contest, and lots more.

Our own Ford Performance Enthusiast Communications Manager, John Clor, took some time away from tent duty to stroll the park and shoot photos of some of the outstanding vehicles that were on display there. He shares some of his favorites for you to enjoy in the gallery below:
