MUSTANGS, MINI-MEETS HELP REV UP CLUB’S ANNUAL ‘RACE TO INDY’ SHOW

DANVILLE, Ind. – The great thing about registering your club on www.FordPerformanceClubConnect.com is that you can submit a request for an on-site Ford Performance Meet & Greet display and/or a Ford Performance presentation to be conducted at your big show or event. That’s precisely what the Mustang Club of Indianapolis did for their “39th Annual Race to Indy Mustang & All-Ford Car Show” this year – and they wound up getting both.

Ford Performance set up a Meet & Greet display where attendees got a free full-color Mustang Poster and Ford Performance wristband just for visiting the tent. And just before the show’s awards ceremony, our own Ford Performance Enthusiast Communications Manager, John Clor, delivered a fun-filled presentation on Mustang design and Ford’s new Club Connect program to showgoers. The indoor pavilion that was part of the show’s new location at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex proved the perfect spot not only for the presentation and awards, but also a great place to get out of the sun and visit “The Mustang Grill” for some food and drink.

This show always brings out great cars and also attracts a variety of other Ford vehicle club “mini-meets” to be held on the show field – and it did just that on Saturday, July 28, 2018. The first 200 show cars that registered received commemorative dash plaques, and there was a 50-50 drawing as well plenty of great door prizes for those holding lucky tickets Clor took some time away from tent duty to stroll the show and shoot photos of some of the outstanding vehicles that were on display there. He shares some of his favorites for you to enjoy in the gallery below:
