DEARBORN – When Red Bull Media House needed vehicles to travel alongside and capture photos and videos of the grueling Dakar Rally, they called Ford Performance for a fleet of Ford Raptors.

The 2018 Dakar Rally, which begins January 6th, is the 40th anniversary of the epic race. This year’s competition will test 341 competitors in five different vehicle classes, driving through some of the world’s most rugged terrain. The course runs from Peru to Bolivia before ending in Argentina on January 20^th.
