The 2013 SVT Raptor became the first vehicle available with factory beadlock-compatible alloy wheels, which also happen to be the world’s first wheels with conventional and beadlock mounting abilities. Beadlocks secure the edges of the tire between two surfaces, preventing the tire from rolling off the rim when off-roading with low tire pressure. The new beadlock wheels add off-road prowess to the already capable SVT Raptor, which boasts a standard Torsen limited-slip differential, electronic-locking rear differential, and internal triple-bypass FOX Racing Shox dampers. SVT also added HID headlamps, which complement the existing front-view camera.
