STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – Regular visitors to our Quick Look section on the FordPerformance.com website have come to know that our own roving car-show photographer, Bill Cook, attends all sorts of enthusiast events – big and small – mostly across the Midwest every year. His goal is to offer us a Quick Look at the different Mustangs and Fords he finds on display at these events so that we can experience the Ford enthusiast hobby through his photos. From mega car shows to small local cruise-ins, Bill’s work provides eye candy for the Ford fan who loves classic and collectible Fords.
To that end, Bill sent us a great photo gallery from a random cruise-in that he happened to attend last summer, and it proved our point that no matter where you might go to get your “car fix,” you’re sure to find lots of great Blue Oval rides. Check out his note to us below – then check out then cars we chose from his photo submissions. Thanks, Bill, for letting us ride along with you to the cruise!
“On this particular Monday night in July, it was clear with only a few clouds in sight. Since the weather forecast was not looking good for the rest of the week with the threat of rain each day, I decided to jump in the daily driver and head to a cruise-in that I had never attended before because of traffic on that side of town. The Fun Time Cruzers Monday Night Cruise-In at Lakeside Circle in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights, Michigan, was only 18 miles away, but it took me 40 minutes to get there due to that heavy traffic. But thanks to a good turnout and some really nice cars there, it was worth the ride.”
