No Need to Hunt Down a Top Mustang Event This Month: ‘Foxtoberfest’ in Charlotte, NC, October 12-15 is the Smart Choice

Looking for the smart choice for the biggest and best Mustang event this month? Then forget about taking a road trip to a cider mill or for a fall color tour, and head to Charlotte, North Carolina, for Foxtoberfest, a show consisting entirely of cars that ride on the 1978-93 Ford Fox-Body platform. This October marks the show’s 11th year, and organizers expect it will be the biggest and best yet, appealing not only to a large portion of the Fox-Body owner base, but to all Mustang fans as well.

Spanning four days, Fox fans can enjoy a large variety of activities such as an open house at Fox Mustang Restoration and Prestige Motorsports, a cruise, poker run, Fox-Body YouTuber meet & greet, Mustang Owners Museum Meet, a hotel kick-off party, and of course the main event of some 700 Fox Bodies on display at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. This show is unique not only because of the niche that it serves, but also because every Fox Body Ford is welcome, regardless of condition. You’ll see low-mileage originals next to multi-colored projects. There are typical trophies for class winners and the show also awards Fox restoration supplies to those deemed most in need.

So head over to the event website to get all the details, then book a stay in Concord, North Carolina, from October 12-15 to experience the pride of Fox Body ownership and share the passion that continues to grow in the Fox community. It’s this month’s smart choice . . . smart like a Fox!

Here’s Why You Need to Register your Club or Ford Fan Facebook Group with Ford Performance Club Connect

By now you should have heard about a Ford Performance initiative called “Club Connect” that can help all Ford and Mustang enthusiasts get connected with both Ford Motor Company and each other. The value in all of this is that whenever you plan a club or group activity, you can see what other clubs and groups are in your area that you may wish to contact and ask to join you at a show or event. It also allows Ford Performance to see all the clubs and groups in a certain area, so that when we are coming to town or planning a special Ford event in your city or state, you and your club members can be contacted to participate.

It takes only a few minutes for a club principal or board member to register your club and establish a direct link for your members to Ford Performance. And now, you can also register your group and logo with Ford Brand Licensing all in the same process. Have a product or parts question that you want answered?
