LIVONIA, Mich. – Three times a year the ROUSH Automotive Collection welcomes cruisers all across Southeastern Michigan to visit their museum’s open house in suburban Detroit. Although the collection is open Monday through Friday year-round, the three cruise-ins they hold typically draw the largest crowds to the museum each year. The collection not only includes dozens of notable Mustangs, classic Fords and, of course, ROUSH Mustangs, but also Jack’s collection of Ford GT supercars, historic NASCAR vehicles, unique concept cars, and WWII era vehicles.
The Open House events are not only a cruise-in, but also often includes an engine build competition performed by the ROUSH Engines Department, door-prize giveaways and autograph sessions by the Roush family including Jack, son Jack Jr., and daughter Susan McClenaghan. Occasionally, Jack will walk the parking lot to meet show-goers, and even sign their vehicles when asked. Since these events coincide with NASCAR races in Michigan, ROUSH Fenway drivers are often invited to attend and sign fan memorabilia.
The third and final ROUSH Automotive Collection open house of 2019 will take place August 8th from 5-8 p.m. For more information on the event, visit their Facebook page here and then check out some of the cars we spotted at the last event below:
