SAVANNAH, Ga. – It’s not often that Ford Performance gets invited to attend a Mustang and Ford show on an island, but that where the Savannah Mustang Club held its “29th Annual Mustang and Classic Ford Show” in Georgia -- on Savannah’s Skidaway Island, in fact. Blessed by plenty of sun that day, the club’s big yearly show was set up to fill the tree-lined parking lots of the Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church, whose plentiful shade – along with a cool breeze – gave the event a true island vibe.
Ford Performance arrived to set up its well-traveled Meet & Greet display tent and hand out some just-released 2019 Mustang Bullitt posters to the Ford owners and fans who gathered at the show, which was held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018. The Savannah Mustang Club also invited all attendees to visit with Ford Performance and spend some time talking Mustangs and just hang out before the 4 p.m. awards ceremony came along. While there, Ford Performance Communications Manager John Clor snuck away from tent duty for a few minutes to tour the show field and take photos of some of the more notable rides on display. He shares his shots with us in the gallery below:
