DETROIT, Mich. – The Detroit Autorama, also known as “American’s Greatest Hot Rod Show,” takes place every year at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit. The show highlights hot rods, resto mods, rat rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, motorcycles and everything else in-between. This is an event where you can get a true sense of the Detroit automotive culture and even experience the spirit of The Motor City itself.
We attended the 67th Annual Detroit Autorama over the March 1-2-3, 2019, extended weekend, and have already shared with you photos of some of our favorite Fords that we found on display there. But Ford Performance also had our own roving car-show photographer, Ford marketing retire Bill Cook, prowling the event, including the “Autorama Extreme” display downstairs at Cobo, to find all the hidden Ford gems that you may have missed while cruising through the show.
