WE PICK OUR FAVES AT MUSTANG CLUB OF MID-MICH ‘GREAT LAKES STAMPEDE’

BIRCH RUN, Mich. – Like most clubs that are regional affiliates of the Mustang Club of America (MCA), the Mustang club of Mid-Michigan (MCMM) organizes a big Mustang and Ford car show every year. In the past, the MCMM has hosted their big regional event on a Sunday in May, but lately the club had been having rain issues with Mother Nature on show day. Perhaps in the hopes of changing their luck a bit, but officially to focus on its own part of the state and to tie in the Mustang “stampede” theme, the MCMM renamed its annual show back in 2014 to “The Great Lakes Stampede All Ford and Mustang Car Show.”

The non-profit Mustang Club of Mid-Michigan is located in the Frankenmuth, Michigan, area, which is perhaps better-known for its “World Famous Chicken Dinners” than its Mustangs. The MCMM draws collectible Fords from all around the area and always puts on a great show. This year the club moved its show to a Saturday (May, 19, 2018) and onto the expansive property of the nearby Birch Run Premium Outlets Mall, right off Interstate 75 in nearby Birch Run, Michigan. Although we saw clouds in the sky on show day, we also saw plenty of fine Fords and Mustangs at this year’s Stampede, and snapped photos of some of our favorite cars on display at the show to share with you below:
