DEARBORN - Earlier this month, we brought to you the first half of the Ford Performance fueled 'Fast n Loud' episode featuring Kurt Busch as he teamed up with the Gas Monkey Garage to create his dream car, a Ford Performance powered 1972 Pantera to go head-to-head against fellow NASCAR driver Joey Logano.
Built in the Gas Monkey Garage and tested at Kurt Busch Inc. in North Carolina, the 1972 Pantera features a Ford Performance 5.0 Coyote Aluminator crate engine and a Cobra Jet intake manifold creating a one-of-a-kind racing machine.
On the other side, Joey Logano pulled up to the line in his custom Ford Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe-R powered by a Ford Performance Aluminator 5.2 XS crate engine and a Cobra Jet intake manifold. It was the making of a Aluminator showdown for the ages.
Taken place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, the coyote showdown between the two Daytona 500 winners did not disappoint and was a race you'd have to see to believe. Catch up on the Pantera build and watch the epic finale episode of Fast n Loud on the Discovery Channel.
