Matt DiBenedetto has been competing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for three seasons, but last year marked his first behind the wheel of the No. 32 Go FAS Racing Fusion for owner Archie St. Hilaire.
He and his new team made great strides, which included a ninth-place finish in the Daytona 500 and eighth-place run in the Brickyard 400. DiBenedetto has started at least 30 races every year he’s been in the sport, but last season was the first time he qualified for all 36 events.
DiBenedetto made his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup debut in the fourth race of the 2015 season at Phoenix International Raceway and finished 35th.
- Finished second to Brett Moffitt in the 2015 Sunoco Rookie of the Year competition.
- Gained a great deal of recognition while driving six NASCAR XFINITY Series races in 2010 for Joe Gibbs Racing. He had two top-10 finishes in that stint, including a career-best ninth-place effort at Iowa Speedway in July.
- Before getting opportunities in NASCAR’s top two divisions, DiBenedetto had two starts in the ARCA Series and 20 in the K&N Pro East Series between 2009-12.
