#60 Austin Cindric
|Crew Chief||Mike Kelley|
|Birthday||SEP 2, 1998|
If it has four wheels, then there’s a good chance Austin Cindric has already driven it.
Despite the fact he’s only 19 years old, Cindric has amassed a rather impressive resume that includes stints in Global Rally Cross, Continental Tire, IMSA, Pirelli World Challenge, and NASCAR. He focused his efforts last year driving full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Brad Keselowski Racing and this year will be part of a development team in the NASCAR XFINITY Series with Roush Fenway Racing.
This marks a continuation of the relationship between Cindric and Ford, which flourished in 2015 when he drove in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge for Multimatic at the age of 16. He provided a milestone victory at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on July 11, 2015 when he took the lead with 30 minutes remaining and registered the first win for the Shelby GT350R-C. He also became the youngest winner in series history at 16 years, 10 months, nine days.
- Registered his first NASCAR victory last year at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and qualified for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoffs.
- Advanced to the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway and finished third in the final point standings.
- Won an X Games bronze medal after finishing third in the Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites Series event in Austin, TX.
