CULVER’S CRUISE-IN DRAWS 500 COOL CARS IN SUBURBAN DETROIT

CC1

LAKE ORION, Mich. – One of the nice things about living in and around The Motor City is that there’s no shortage of collector cars, car shows or summer cruise-ins in the Detroit Metro Area. In fact, you can find cruises to ice cream stands and fast-food restaurants all across the region. Beginning the first Tuesday in May, the Culver’s franchise in Lake Orion, Michigan, hosts a weekly car cruise-in that takes place every Tuesday of the month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. all summer long. In addition to seeing a wide variety of classics, hots rods and muscle cars, this particular cruise-in also features multiple weekly prizes, a trivia contest, a 50/50 raffle, and a live DJ on-site. After hearing that this weekly event attracts an average of 400-500 cars when the weather is nice, we sent our Ford Performance correspondent, Bill Cook, to check out the cruise to find what classic and collectable Fords might be in attendance. Take a look at our photo gallery to see some of the cool Fords that we spotted at the show one summer night.
