QUICK LOOK – ENTHUSIAST GALLERY: CLUB TOURS CHRIS KOCH COLLECTION

DAYTONA BEACH, FL – Longtime Shelby enthusiast and SAAC-MCR club founder Jeff Burgy recently joined members of the Daytona Mustang Club for a tour of the private automotive collection owned by a highly-decorated local “car guy,” Chris Koch. Chris was employed by Ford Motor Company in the dealer ranks from the mid-60s through 1997 when he retired and moved down to Florida. Koch’s passion for the automotive industry went well beyond his career in the field; he is an accredited concours-level judge and auto judging team captain while also receiving a certification from the Classic Car Club of America. Beyond that, he served as judge for the Early Ford V-8 Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America. Shortly after his move to Florida, Koch built a museum to house his collection of rare and special vehicles covering various nameplates, as well as a treasure-trove of automobilia covering the walls.
