SOUTH DAYTONA, FL – Before the holiday season kicked off, longtime Shelby enthusiast and SAAC-MCR club founder Jeff Burgy attended the 4th annual “Grillers Gone Wild” backyard BBQ festival and the Tropical Detroit Muscle Car Club car show at Reed Canal Park in South Daytona, Florida. The car show, which attracted over 150 cars this year, is part of a large and well-attended BBQ competition held each November. Participants in the auto display of all makes and models were eligible for various awards, including a People’s Choice pick for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, along with cash prizes. There was also a 50/50 drawing, arts and craft vendors, beverage sales and all-day live music. The event provided plenty of fun for the entire family to get out and enjoy the Florida sun so late in the year.
After Burgy got his fill of some of the local eats, he headed over to the car show with his camera to snap photos of all the Fords he saw in the show field. Jeff agreed to share his personal photos from the event with us so that we could share them with you in the gallery below:
