SHARONVILLE, OH – Located just north of Cincinnati is Ford’s Sharonville Transmission Plant, where members of the Tri-State Mustang & Ford Club joined employees of the plant in hosting the factory’s 2016 Ford Funfest. Thousands of local enthusiasts gathered on the lawn of the transmission plant to check out the more than 250 vehicles of all makes and models who attended while basking in the mid-September sun. The one-day show featured a full array of classic and collectible cars and trucks from 1975-2016, as well as raffle prizes, live music, local food vendors, a corn-hole tournament, and the event’s 8th annual bike show. To top it all off, all the proceeds generated from the Funfest were donated to JDRF of Southwest Ohio.
Although Ford Performance was unable to attend the event this year, we asked our contacts at the plant to capture the excitement for us in photos. So Sr. Plant Engineer David Diehl photographed the entire show and was gracious enough to share his photos with us. We chose some of our favorite Fords out of the bunch to share with all of you – enjoy!
