SALMAN OWEGA, No. 1 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 – “I'm really happy with our first Ford win in ADAC GT Masters. Finn and the team did a top job, and Ford gave us a great car. We're leading the championship, and hopefully it'll stay this way until the end."
FINN WIEBELHAUS, No. 1 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 – “It was an amazing Sunday for us. I have no words... finishing first after getting pole in the morning is amazing. We had good pace with our Mustang GT3, Salman did a great job and we had an amazing strategy. Unfortunately, we lost a bit of time during the second pit-stop, which costed us track position in the end. But, I did some good laps and attacked the second-to-last lap. Now, it's time to celebrate and relax. We are leading the championship and I'm leading Road to DTM. We came back stronger after Zandvort, and now it's managing the championship and fighting until the end."
MAX REIS, No. 3 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 – “The weekend was really great in our Mustang. It did not start out well with Niklas's injury. Yesterday's qualifying was a great start into the week. We finished fourth in the first race and second today. We would have got first had we not stopped too short in the box, but in the end we're super happy. I'm also super happy that David could step in to drive for Niklas."
WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION WHILE WATCHING THE FINAL LAPS? "It was really hard to watch. I tried to save the tires for David, but Finn had the better tires at the end. David fought and did a really good job."
DAVID SCHUMACHER, No. 3 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 – “We had a good weekend for what we had. Finishing second and fourth was pretty decent in the Mustang GT3. We were a bit unlucky with today's pit-stop. We miscalculated something and sadly got a penalty for it. We would have probably got the win, which is a shame. But, the fight in the end – on old tires for me and new ones for Finn – I think was a pretty good job from my side."
